Sir David Attenborough
The face and voice of the BBC Natural History Unit for more than half a century, Sir David Attenborough is surely one of the most influential, admired and best-liked people in British Television, most famously through his pioneering Life on Earth to the most recent series Life in Cold Blood. Sir David has long shared an obsession with the Birds of Paradise of Papua New Guinea and Indonesia with Alfred Russell Wallace (who jointly with Darwin first described the theory of evolution 150 years ago). This evening he will share with us some of their fascination.
