Do you love the idea of getting involved in the world of theatre? Then look no further!
Whether you're new to performing or a seasoned amateur; in pursuit of a career in the arts or just a hobby then The Broadway Theatre Academy is what you need! In Summer 2011, BTA will take over the theatre from Monday 22nd August to Saturday 3rd September, and in just two weeks, rehearse and perform a full scale production!
And what better way to launch BTA than with one of the world’s greatest musicals ever written: Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Jesus Christ Superstar. This smash hit musical tells the story of the last seven days of Jesus of Nazareth with a fantastic score that includes such hits as Hosanna, I Don't Know How to Love Him and, of course, the title song Jesus Christ Superstar.
No matter whether you’re an aspiring actor, a singer or a dancer, or are more interested in the technical aspects of a stage production, then BTA is a brilliant opportunity to work alongside an award-winning creative team and be part of a fantastic theatrical event.
With every production, there's a lot of work to do so before the intensive rehearsals begin so we'll be hosting a series of masterclasses to develop performance skills, starting on Sunday 27th March 2011 so if you want to get involved, make sure you're there! Places will be limited, and are bound to be highly sought after, so register to avoid disappointment! Contact the Box Office on 0844 850 0 850 for more information.
BTA masterclasses are free; BTA Summer School fee is £100.
